Our Experience
Paul Parker began directing actors show reels in 2015, directing film in 2018 and to date, Paul has directed 7 short films and 1 television series. Amongst his theatre directing, dating back to 1990, Paul was Assistant Director to Roger Hodgman on Lady Windermere’s Fan by Oscar Wilde at the Melbourne Theatre Company

International Reach
Paul won Best Director & Best Producer at the 2 11 17 International Film Awards in February, 2024, for film: “I’m A Tradie”. Paul has directed in Australia, USA and Japan. Three of Paul’s short films have been directed in
Japan with Japanese actors: Die San Vacuum Cleaner, Neighbours – A Comedy and Neighbours – A Drama. Paul has directed theatre in Australia and Japan and, theatre extensively, in the USA

Theatre Work
Paul has directed 9 stage plays, 11 Comedy Revues & 3 Acting Showcases, 3 Performance Open Days and multiples scenes from plays. The showcases were performed in Los Angeles. One showcase was performed at Off Broadway in New York, Hollywood in Los Angeles and in San Francisco

I’m A Tradie
This short film finished post-production in 2023
LOCATION
Shot on location in Kensington and Keilor Downs
in Melbourne in 2022.
SHORT FILM SYNOPSIS
Richee, a successful CEO of his own plumbing business, also
has a training company for apprentices. Richee trains
apprentices how to behave and how to succeed as a tradie. Are
the things taught legal and ethical? Will Richee ever be
scrutinized?
CAST
The cast includes Jason Buckley in the lead role, (The
Dressmaker with Kate Winslet & Liam Hemsworth, Neighbours,
Halifax f.p., Stingers, Blue Heelers, Wentworth, Doctor Blake
Mysteries etc), as well as many of Paul’s private acting
students.
